With the Internet revolution, the need for real-time data analytics has grown exponentially over the past few years. Companies are investing heavily in industrial automation, which is increasing the growth of machine learning. In addition, along with Big Data, different industries are making the web more complicated, which eventually drives the complex demand for event processors. The amount of data being processed is growing tremendously with the increasing use of sensors and connecting devices. In the conventional DBMS approach, the issue of analyzing this knowledge on a real-time basis is a problem. Complex Event Processing (CEP) solves this issue in response, since it operates on the stored query rather than the data stored.
