Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Defiance gameplay is fairly similar to those of its predecessors. Updated features include the option to draw a knife without first coming into the melee range of an opponent on the bottom screen status indicator. The campaign, Quick Play, as well as Challenge Mode, are the three single-player modes in the game. Campaign mode presents a storyline. Recruit, Regular, as well as Hardened may be played concurrently, and 3 other game modes in addition to the 14 missions.
